Post related to Clean that water up!, Fresher Water

Tree Tops School is an exceptional example  an earth conscious community where children learn from an early age to respect and care for our finate resources. March Water Week brings a " refreshing" lesson in water conservation!! Grade 3 children watched a U-Tude clip about others kids around the world saving water at home and in their schools. After a brief discussion about the way that water is polluted and how we can all try to make each drop count, the class decided that they too, were going to follow in the water footprints of these other Water Hero's!! Using old recycled material, they had heaps of fun designing an Water Hero badge. With their new water hero status, they proudly took up their new role and responsibility to ensure that all the children observe water saving practices in the school.

Grade 3 Teacher qoute;

"This module was more successful than I anticipated! The children had great fun producing the merchandise and looked and behaved like real ‘water heroes’ during Water Week!"
