Saving water for every flush using a 2litre bottle for displacement
Saving water for every flush using a 2litre bottle for displacement

Every year during water week in March, all learners are requested to bring a 2litre bottle of water to school for the day for all their water needs. The water mains are turned off! And all the children have to make do with their 2 litres for the day Nothing is more compelling in getting the children to understand how precious water is. They enjoy this activity as they have think so carefully about how they use every drop. During this day they use any remaining water to help displace and save water in the toilet cisterns.
