Each childs family filled out a questionnaire and a survey. We found the majority of families in our questionnaire did not use a bucket to wash their car and were wasting water by leaving the hose on.
Each family completed a survey on water used over 1 day. The majority were using the correct of daily
water while some families were a little over the average daily amount.
Each family pledged to save water by changing some habits like- turning taps of while not in use, quick toilet flush and shorter showers.
The Eco-Committee then completed a water walkway using the facts that they had found. We made lots of new discoveries.
