Identifying our finds

Year Six went on an expedition up Kelston Round Top today.  They started in Swineford where there is a stream which leads into the River Avon - the main water way between Bath and Bristol.  When looking at the stream they were expecting that all they would find was murky water but were amazed to find fly lavae, shrimps, cased caddis fly lavae and water mites.  There was an abundance of plants growing along the stream as well.
